Krystal Mangan graduated as a physical therapist from the University of Alberta with distinction in 2004. She has practiced in Edmonton since then and has experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal, women’s health and complex persistent pain conditions.
As a Physical Therapist, Krystal has a special interest in women’s health. She has experience treating conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, as well as pregnancy and post- partum related symptoms. Glenda’s decades of professional experience, along with her own health journey, have led her to use a whole being approach with her clients - mind, body and spirit. This gets to the root of physical discomfort and dysfunction so her clients can have optimal and lasting change in their function and wellbeing.
From an educational perspective, Glenda received her Physical Therapy Degree with distinction from McGill University in 1991. Being an avid learner, that was just the beginning. Her love of sports led her to specializing in orthopaedics and sports physio, receiving her Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy Diploma and her Diploma in Sports Physical Therapy.
She has had the amazing opportunity of working with local soccer teams and travelling to Beijing and Turkey as a part of the Canadian Medical Team taking care of our Canadian athletes at the Summer Universiade Games.
Glenda’s passion for learning led her to the practices of Traditional Chinese Medical Acupuncture as well as Visceral Manipulation through the Barral Institute. She loves that adding these practices allows her to assess and treat clients with a more thorough approach in tune with the energetics of the body as well as the physical aspects.
